Hi! I'm Emilie, the founder of Let's Mahj RVA in Richmond, where we teach American Mahjong and believe the table should always be a place of connection. The game first came into my life over 30 years ago, and returning to it years later sparked what is now Let's Mahj RVA.

Today alongside my incredible Let's Mahj team, we offer beginner 101 classes, strategy instruction, themed events, and club play for women ready to learn and grow in the game. Our goal is to make mahjong approachable, welcoming, and fun at every stage. At Let's Mahj RVA, the tiles may start the game- but community is always the heart of it.
