Freya is 100% woman-owned and operated. Their hats are woven by women who have learned the art from their mothers and grandmothers. As is often the case with mahjong, it is a skill that is passed down from one generation to the next. Freya stands for sustainability, sun protection and the growth gained from the voyage. We love what they stand for. And we dig their hats.

We worked together to design three badges that utilize the original artwork from The Mahjong Line’s tile designs, namely, the Lucky Line, the Ocean Line, and the Mountain Line.
