The Big Card was co-created by The Mahjong Line, I LOVE MAHJ, and a team of mahjong experts. It follows the classic American Mahjong rules established by a group of pioneering Jewish women in 1937 and was tested through over a million simulated games with our friends at I LOVE MAHJ (we love their big analytical brains!).

Through one million games played, we determined which hands are more likely to win and which ones truly challenge even the most seasoned players. Easier hands earn lower scores, while tougher, rarer wins earn bigger points. The result is a dynamic scoring system, ranging from 10 to 85 points, where each hand’s value reflects its real-world odds of winning.

Every decision was made to ensure not just playability, but the statistical integrity of the card.

We want to spread the love of mahjong far and wide. In our first year, we’re offering one free card per email address, U.S. shipping only. The Big Card begins to ship at the end of December. Standard USPS shipping rates apply at checkout. Let’s grow this game together.

The Big Card will ship every year at the end of December. The quiet months of January and February are prime game time, and the new card is ready to bring the fun.

Fair Pricing

Since a new card is released every year, we care about making The Big Card affordable. We priced The Big Card at $10.00.

Giving Back

The charitable contribution per each card sold is clearly stated and verified. When purchasing a card through the TML website, 30% per card will be donated to charity. Every quarter we shift our focus to another deserving mission. The first quarter charity is Make-A-Wish. The pending second quarter charity is Jewish Federations of North America.

The Big Card is extensively tested by I LOVE MAHJ - in our opinion the best online American Mahjong platform in the world - to guarantee optimal playability and switchability.
