I first learned how to play mahjong at age seven, from my grandfather who loved games. I had a refresher lesson later in my adult life, and started teaching all my friends.

From there, we all became hooked, started playing regularly, and I started teaching in the areas I frequently am in: Charleston, SC, Chattanooga, TN and Sea Island, GA. I love The Mahjong Line's playful personality, and being able to bring COLOR to the game. It's been a fun ride, teaching this game that's taken over!

It's a different game every time! Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy and a lot of luck. I love mahjong because I can play with people of all skill levels, and still be challenged every game. I love that it's keeping my brain working, and it's an intentional reason to get together with your friends!
