Ashley started Camel City Mahjong after playing with friends and teaching others beginning in 2022. She was first taught by her mom Libby years ago. Libby played on a regular basis with a group of friends when Ashley was young. They occasionally played as a family, but once Mahjong started taking off in recent years, they started teaching others. It's been fun to see such excitement around the game. The beautiful tiles and other products associated with Mahjong make it even more appealing. What Ashley likes most about Mahjong is the sense of community that the game brings.
