Where do you teach?

Dallas-Fort Worth, London UK

Where, when and how did you learn mahjong?

I learned at my cousins house on the Minimal Line Ceylon Blue 1.0 tiles. I won a hand that afternoon and couldn’t stop thinking about the game, the tiles, and the women I met. I was hooked.

Tell us why you love Mahjong?

Keeping an agile and sharp brain while hanging with my pals - sign me up! And the gorgeous tiles are like little pieces of art, so colorful!

What is your favorite mahjong memory?

Teaching my young nieces how to play the game is one of my favorite memories. They learned on my first set, the Cheeky Line, pink! They’ve taken the game (and a few sets of tiles) back to London and taught their gal pals. The game is timeless and the friendships built around the table, priceless. 💥

What is your favorite section of the card?

NMJL section: WINDS, baby! My favorite section on The Big Card 2026 is Mad Math. I’m a sucker for a challenge and TBC nailed it.

What makes you laugh?

I giggle all.the.time. Things that make me laugh: my 2 sons, things I overhear at mahjong, myself when I create a giggle-worthy reel, driving up the side of a mountain, and a good joke.

One thing you can't live without.

My glasses. Not a statement piece, a necessity 💯

Motto for life

Be Kind. 💜

What would you sing on Karaoke night?

Push It by Salt-n-Pepa (all 3 parts) including a mid-song dance.

What Mahjong Line set is your favorite to play on?

I am in my Cheeky era and loving the Electric Blue, paired with the purple stripe mat, chefs kiss. The Lucky Line in Shell Pink is another favorite. Paired with the solid peacock mat and pink racks…OMG good.

The person, alive or dead, you would love to have at your dinner party.

Amy Sedaris makes the list for sure- she’s so eclectic and real and I loved that about her. I may toss an invite to Frank Sinatra because he’d be mixing up ice cold vodka martinis, my fav!

Stranded on a desert island and you only have one movie to watch...

Big. Can’t go wrong with 1980’s Tom Hanks.
